Bentenyama Miyako Sushi is an old Sushi restaurant established about 150 years ago.
You can have traditional Sushi there. Because the chief cook put traditional special soy sauce on Sushi, it is even not necessary to put it for myself. You have no need to do anything except having delicious Sushi. It is a kind of Japanese hospitality, OMOTENASHI.
Because of chef cooks being able to provide us most fresh Sushi and we see, select and order what we want to eat easily, almost Sushi restaurants have counters. I will recommend taking a seat at counters in Sushi restaurants.
This beautiful clothe is a kind of a traditional signboard called Noren(暖簾) in Japan.
When stores or restaurants open, Noren is hunged out before entrance.
If you want to enter a store, please pull Noren off on your hand.
In this site, I will produce a Shinise program and broadcast it every month. In addition I will also present interesting information about Japanese food culture at any time.
Ancestral shops or restaurants are called SHINISE（老舗）in Japan. I would like to tell you traditional culture in Japan.
